DIN EN 61000-3-2 VDE 0838-2:2015-03

This standard contains the German version of the European standard EN 61000-3-2:2014 and is identical with the International Standard IEC 61000-3-2:2014. It contains requirements for the limitation of harmonic currents caused by electrical and electronic equipment with an input current <= 16 A per phase, which are intended for connection to public low-voltage power distribution networks. In relation to the previous standard test conditions for non-professional high pressure cleaners and for refrigerators and freezers were added, the test conditions for vacuum cleaners and for non-professional arc welding equipment were modified and specifications for the classification of household appliances with built-in lighting devices were clarified.
