This Standard deals with the safety of microwave ovens for household and similar use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V. A detailed new clause provides a desciption of how the glass breakage test must be evaluated. Due to unprecise cheap mikrowave measurement devices, the annex for routine test now provides a specificaton, a method of calibration and the measurement procedure to make sure that e. g. the measurement of leakage microwaves is more reliable and comparable.
