The project revises EN 50174-2 as follows: requirements in clauses 4 and 5 regarding closures, cables, stacking height of pathway systems, surge protective devices; new requirements for planning and assessment of cabling for remote powering; requirements on segregation (Clause 6); electricity distribution systems and lightning protection (Clause 7); new Clauses 12 on cabling for distributed buidling services and 13 on common infrastructures for multitenant buildings; Annex C on installation conditions, Annex D on equipment accommodation environments.
