JIS B 7519:1994 (R2015)

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the length measuring instrument of a construction capable of transmitting a mechanically magnified displacement of the spindle having measuring point to the pointer as a rotary motion with a scale interval of not more than 1 mum and the range of rotary motion of pointer of less one revolution. This Standard does not apply to the type of microindicators having electrical or other signal generating device.
