Description / Abstract: The material defined by this specification is a coolant concentrate composed essentially of monoethylene glycol and OAT corrosion inhibitors. When mixed 50/50 with water it shall be a satisfactory fluid for vehicle cooling systems that contain aluminum engine components, radiators and heater cores, ferrous metals and copper brass. These materials are for initial fill and service fill. They should not be mixed with previously approved silicated coolants.
