1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is an inorganically-gelled grease blended with a high viscosity synthetic hydrocarbon isoparaffinic oil. This grease is mildly thixotropic, and becomes semi-fluid on agitation, but returns to the gelled state when energy input ceases. The lubricant operating temperatures range from -29 to +121 degrees C.
