1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is an uncured elastomeric material which expands upon exposure to heat, and can also be used at both low temperature (minimum metal temperature, 8 min at 135 °C) and high temperature bakes (maximum metal temperature, 30 min at 205 °C). The material is normally in die cut or extruded form.
