Description / Abstract:
1. SCOPE
The material defined by this specification is a one-component thixotropic spreadable silicone rubber based adhesive/sealant. It is capable of being pumped, metered and distributed into a gasket profile. It cures progressively inward from the surface at room temperature absorbing water vapor in the air as the curing activator. After vulcanization is complete, the tough rubbery solid is odorless. The curing system is of methyl ethyl ketone oxime.
