Description / Abstract: This Standard provides safety requirements for the design, construction, testing, and use of nail-puller bars. These bars, also known as nail claws, are intended specifically for use in extracting nails embedded in forms, crates, or structures. Wrecking, stripping, prying, lining, and aligning pry bars, crowbars, and similar tools that are not intended to be struck in their accepted use are excluded.
