Description / Abstract: This Standard covers dimensions and functional characteristics of locking clamp pliers and tubing pinch-off pliers suitable for clamping operations in assembly and repair work. Tubing pinch-off pliers are used to pinch off the flow of gas or other material flowing through rubber or soft copper tubing. Inclusion of dimensional and functional data in this Standard is not intended to imply that all products described herein are stock production sizes. Consumers are requested to consult with manufacturers concerning lists of stock production sizes.
