Applies to the fabrication of boilers and unfired pressure vessels and their appurtenances in mild steel by the fusion process of welding, either metallic arc or gas. The rules apply only to parts under pressure or parts taking the load due to the working pressure. This code does not include rules for the desing, construction or installation of pipe lines.
