Applies to gypsum plasters for general use in building, including plaster for the manufacture of fibrous plaster products, gypsum plasterboard and glass fibre reinforced gypsum plaster. The composition and physical properties are specified and methods are included for sampling, determination of impurities and chlorides, and testing for fineness, compressive strength and initial setting time. A method is also included for the determination of standard consistency.
