English Description: These E-3-A Sanitary Standards cover the sanitary aspects for washers of shell eggs. They do not pertain to any device used in moving the product from a flat to the washer rollers or washer in feed system such as hand or vacuum lifters, trays, wire fingers or similar devices nor do they pertain to fixed transfer devices between components nor to an oiling device which is used with a washer in a shell egg cartoning operation.
Spanish Description: Estas Normas Sanitarias E-3-A cubren los aspectos sanitarios para lavadoras de cascaras de huevo. No pertenecen a ningun dispositivo que transporta el producto desde un plano a los rodillos de lavado o sistema de ingreso a la lavadora, tales como elevadores manuales o al vacio, bandejas o lenguetas de malla o dispositivos similares, ni tampoco pertenecen a dispositivos de transferencia fijos entre componentes, ni a un dispositivo lubricante que se usa con una lavadora en una operacion de empaque en carton de las cascaras de huevo.
